How to Update:

1. Navigate to the User Profile section in the Settings module.

2. Security

The Security section ensures that users can protect their accounts by managing passwords and activating Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Password Management

• Change your password to enhance account security.
• Steps to Update Password:
  1. Enter the current password for verification.
  2. Provide a new password that meets the security criteria (e.g., minimum length, special characters, etc.).
  3. Confirm the new password.
  4. Click Update Password to apply the changes.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

• Add an extra layer of security to your account using Google Authenticator.
• Once enabled, users must provide a unique code from the authenticator app during login.

Steps to Activate 2FA:

1. Go to the Security section in Settings.
2. Select Enable 2FA.
3. A QR code will appear. Scan it using the Google Authenticator app.
4. Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app to verify.
5. 2FA will now be activated for your account.

Deactivating 2FA:

• If required, users can disable 2FA by providing their authenticator code and confirming deactivation.

Permissions:

• If you don’t have permission, this section will display a View-Only mode.
